Film Evaluation: Distribution (Draft)

If I had to put my opening sequence into a specific genre I'd have to go with psychological horror. But unlike most horror movies, you don't really get to explore the killer's mind, at least not until half way through the movie or near the ending.

Hopefully it will pick critical acclaim and eventually make it's way up. It can certainly be releasing online will definitely be another platform for the niche audiences find their horror movies however, I don't think it can be a mainstream blockbuster.

I think my movie would have be attractive to a certain type of audience that likes to explore the minds of a killer because in my opening sequence you don't really get to know the victims at all, instead you are treated to a one and half minute of the killer's plan and mindset.

Hopefully it will pick critical acclaim and eventually make it's way up. It can certainly be released online as it's one of the main platforms niche audiences find their horror movies but I don't think it can be a mainstream blockbuster. If you check out video platforms like Vimeo, you'll discover so many short films that have so much potential.
